OSM Ideas (OpenStreetMap)
Well, this project was made for OpenStreetMap so here is a section to add some ideas related with OSM.
Ideas:
- Show features added/edited by X user (is this guy working?)
- Show areas where there is no GPS raw points (where should we go)
- Show areas where data is quite old (we need to update!)
- Compare two heatmaps showing the GPS raw point v/s a feature
Compare two heatmaps showing the GPS raw point v/s a feature
This is useful if you are going to go out to mark shops while walking with a GPS. Then if you make a heatmap of the shops you are going to see only your path with a good amount of shops and also some shops that they were before. So that data doesn't show the reality so if you contrast the shops heatmap with the 'walking' heatmap you can actually analyze the data taking care of no fooling yourself.
